

Victor was born in Bronx, New York on September 7, 1950 to Victoriano Manuel and Isabel Mederos Barros. He graduated from Morris High School in New York City, New York in 1968. He then shortly thereafter was drafted into the army in August 20, 1970 and was sent to Saigon, Vietnam as an MP. After having served faithfully and honorably for 2 years, Victor was then sent home severely injured and was retired.
After a previous marriage, Victor then met and married Jennifer Kaye Simmons in November 4, 2004.
Victor worked for K-Mart for 20+ years as a human resource manager, and as loss prevention manger. After retiring, Victor spent his time coaching little league baseball in his former place of residence, Clovis, New Mexico. Victor was presently active within his church, The Midland Primitive Baptist Church.
Victor is preceded in death by his mother Isabel Mederos Barros, his father, Victoriano Manuel Barros, and one brother,Victor M. Barros II.
Victor is survived by his wife Jennifer Simmons Barros, son, Bryce E. Barros, one daughter, Dolores Barros of Clovis, New Mexico, three stepsons, Jacob D. Keith of Midland, Colby S. Smith of Stephenville, Texas, and Ryan M. Smith of Midland, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10th, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ellis Funeral Home. The Burial Service will be held on Friday, December 11th, at 1:00 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park with Elders Edward Kirkpatrick & Don Richards officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Jacob Keith, Colby Smith, Ryan Smith, Steve Ross, Earl Semadeni, Joe McCarty.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the veterans Permian Basin Honor Flight, Permianhonorflight.org
