Violet Rose Doggett

Violet Rose Doggett, age 81, of Midland, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on May 2, 2025. Violet was born on April 24, 1944 in Hamburg, Arkansas to Nathaniel and Madie Stanley. She graduated in May 1963 from Fountain Hill High School.

She married Bobby Doggett, the love of her life, on July 21, 1972, and together they shared 25 years of marriage. She is survived by three sisters, Evelyn Greer of Midland, Texas, Mary Craig of Hamburg, Arkansas, Linda Shockley of Monticello, Arkansas, five children, Lisa Napier and Carl of Colville, Washington, Kim Yonker and spouse Troy Yonker of Haughton, Louisiana, Bobby Furr and spouse Cassie Furr of Midland, Texas, Robert Furr of Tucker, Arkansas, Sue Graham of Orange, Texas, 21 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, two great great grandchild, niece and best friend Gail Greer of Midland, Texas and many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Madie Stanley, spouse Bobby Doggett, brother, Clancy Stanley, sisters, Elvie Price, Anice Allen, Vera Tollison, and Sherry Jeffers, and daughters, Anne Gerrish and Beverley White.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th at 9am at Ellis Resthaven with services to follow at 10am. Graveside services will be at 11am at Resthaven North.

Pall bearers will be Bobby Furr Jr, Sam Thompson-Guajardo, Scott Yonker, Kyle Yonker, Jack Bradley, Phil Oxford, Bobby Furr Sr and Bennie Crouch.
