Adrian Burton Cragg

Born on May 21 in Washington D.C, Burt was the son of James G. Cragg Sr. and Lillie R. Greene.

He was preceded in death by his father, James G. Cragg Sr. and his beloved beagle, Melo.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie. Burt was a devoted brother, to his siblings, James G. Cragg Jr, and Latoya Pettiford (Korey). Uncle to James Pettiford (Kaliyah), Bee Pettiford, Brian Pettiford, Crystal Jones (AJ), Stephanie Anderson (Alonzo) and Tim Hewitt (Bianca) and a proud great uncle to Eric, Alyhia, Camren, Azariah, Lexi, Caden & Ezekiel, and his god children, Kenneth Johnson Jr. (Charmeka), Kelvin Johnson (Alisha), Kelsie Johnson. Special cousin Kenneth Johnson Sr and a large community of extended family and lifelong friends who will miss him dearly.

He grew up with a passion for cars, jazz, travel, and random adventures. He went on to build a life defined by kindness, dedication, and love for those around him. Burt spent his professional years working as a Project Manager at G.D USA, Inc., where he was highly respected by his colleagues and peers. In his free time, he was an avid Manchester Moose member and recently received the Fellowship Degree of Honor.

Burt leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of Burt’s life on November 7th from 2-4p at Woody’s Huguenot Chapel with a repass at Manchester Moose Lodge 4-8p. In keeping with Burt’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Burt’s honor to American Cancer Society, Manchester Moose Lodge and Richmond Animal League (RAL).
