COLORADO, Aileen DeCastro, 36, of Midlothian, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011. She is survived by her parents, Jimmy and Ligaya; and a sister, Stephanie. Aileen was born and raised in Virginia. She attended Midlothian High School and received her bachelors degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in 1996. She went on to work at the Department of Rehabilitative Services, where she served as their public relations specialist for over a decade. She was also an active member of the Filipino-American Association of Central Virginia.
Her remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. A Mass of Christian Funeral will be celebrated 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, 2700 Dolfield Drive.
