I went to school from elementary thru high school with Alan.  He was always a very nice person and kind to me.  My thoughts and prayers are with the family in this time of grief.  God bless and keep you all during this time.

My friend Alan was one of the funniest, yet most genuine individuals I've ever known.  For the 11 or so years we worked together, his quit wit and never-ending supply of "Did I ever tell you about the time..." stories always made Alan very unique.  Our daily job duties made us somewhat co-dependent on each other in the process of things.  A day was never too busy for Alan to text me a meme; I swear he had thousands of them on his personal phone.  A whole time zone away in Richmond, Alan's texted meme was often the official start of the business day at my job in Saint Louis, as he was already completing a project and reloading his coffee cup while I was just arriving at my desk.   Alan wasn't always fun and games. A prankster on the surface, his underlying  keen analytical ability and programming skills always seemed to find not one but multiple solutions to a problem no one else could seem to solve.  Beware though, once Alan made a decision, it would take an act of Congress (or input from anyone living in Texas) to get him to change his mind.  Over the years, I'm confident that Alan and me spent more time talking to each other on the phone than we spent with our spouses.  

Dee...you were the love of his life.  You were the subject of many of our conversations, as Alan and me shared much about our personal lives with each other.  One of our commonalities was caring for aging mothers.  Talking about "Mom" was also a very regular thing.

Alan, my friend, you left us long before your time.  You literally made everywhere you went a better place because of your presence. Our morning chats, often starting off with your patented "GMMF" shouted into the phone, and our hilarious instant message sessions, will remain with me forever.   May God bless you! 

We worked together for years but I will never forget the first time I actually met him - he showed up in cowboy boots looking like he just arrived from Texas.  He always made me laugh but I honestly never pictured him showing up like that... lol!  
He was one of my best friends and we texted all the time.  He cheered me up and I always tried to cheer him up!  He was truly a gift - a friend, a great coworker, and a funny (clown) person that made me laugh!  He is truly missed! 

So happy Gary & I got the chance to meet and spent sometime with you. The man who loved and adored my best friend and her,your family. Wish we all had some more time together. You will be missed.
R.I.P. Alan

I worked alongside Alan for a few years in the West End.  Always a great story to share.  Alan, Rest In Peace, my friend.  

You have the beat seats in the house to the Rangers games now. 

Alan what can I say about my friend. I moved several times but we always stayed in contact. You were as close to a dad that a girl could have. You were there anytime I needed you. I’m so happy that you had another chance at life with Dee. And I remember when you looked at me and said you had another chance to be a dad again and how blissfully happy you were about that. Dees girls were lucky to have you and you them. And of course your little buddy your grandson he will grow up knowing  what an amazing person you were. We have all been so fortunate to have had you in our lives for the time we had. Until we meet again. You my friend are so truly loved and missed xoxoxoxo

My dear husband and best friend, I miss you so badly words cannot express.  You were my Buddy, my Pal, my Velcro, MY ALAN!   You were a wonderful man, generous and kind.  I love how you loved me, I loved how you loved the kids and your grandson.   I'm going to miss going to the mountains with you, doing handy work around the house; with the exception of your hitting me in the head with you crow bar, LOL!  Who will I go fishing with?  Whom will I be able to get a fishing hook stuck in their leg without them yelling at me.  My God Alan, you left us too soon.   I have so many wonderful memories of you I can write a book.  You were a Good man my love, a very Good man; and don't you ever forget it!   As much as I miss you, I pray you are happy and healthy up in Heaven, playing with Tiffany, the little lady you so sorely missed.   I wish you could come back home to me, but I know better, so I will remember the words of the song you always sang to me.   "I'm gonna love you forever and ever, Amen!"  Love you always and a day, your Sponkey Monkey, your wife Dee.

I was fortunate to work with Alan for many years.  He always made a situation better and got the results we needed. I also feel lucky that I got to meet Pesto. I enjoyed his insight into baseball and could only imagine  his take on the recent scandal.  Rest In Peace my friend.    

Alan we will miss you. You were a good friend and colleague for 25 years. It has been a long time since the days at Modis and Philip Morris.  I will always remember your love of Texas and Baseball. Your clowning around and bad jokes. Thanks to Pesto for being our clown. You were a true friend and we will miss you.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Angelone. Please forgive me, but I'm trying to find out if this is the same Alan Angelone who worked in the jewelry industry in the 70's-80's. He was a very good friend to me when I was a young man working in a mall in Gautier, Mississippi. If someone could email me and let me know if this was the same man I would really appreciate it. Once again, whether this was the man I knew or not, please accept my condolences at this man's passing. Thank you so much.

Was saddened to hear of Alan's passing but enjoyed having him on my team and all the good work done.  The world is not as bright without him and his clowning or baseball love or many other things that endured Alan to us.  I think he said it best about himself on Linked-In:
