McINTIRE, Albert Simpkins, 88, of Richmond, died December 16, 2016. He was preceded in death by his children, Mar Lou Culbreth and Howard James Depew; two sisters, Susie Timmons and Julia Frasier; and his brother, Robert McIntire. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis McIntire; children, Lynn McIntire, Kay Bottoms, Scott Gentry, Jeanna Mitchell, Terry Depew, Sherry Costello and Robin Kelley; 20 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Naomi Jaeger. His remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd., where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2016 and where a memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2016.
