

Allan Wade Wayman, age 82, passed away peacefully at his home in Moseley, VA on July 6, 2026, after a lengthy illness.Born on October 27, 1943, in Canonsburg, PA, Allan was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.
His family moved to Lorain, Ohio in search of employment when Allan was a child. Allan was a graduate of Lorain High School’s Class of 1961B. It was in high school where he met his wife of 63 years, Annette Eastin. Allan worked a variety of jobs after graduation, until he found a career as an electrician at US Steel for 37 years, before he retired in 2005.
Allan is survived by his loving wife, Annette (Eastin); his daughter Charlene (Miguel) Morales; his son Robert (Peggy) Wayman; and his grandchildren Brian (Pamela) Morales, Jordan and Judah Stahl.He was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Elmira (Haynes) Wayman, and brother Gregory Wayman.
Though Allan’s passing leaves a profound void, his love and influence will continue to live on through the family he so deeply cherished.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday the 14th at 11:30 am, followed by a Celebration of Life starting at 12:30 pm, at Woody Funeral Home at Huguenot, 1020 Huguenot Rd., Midlothian, VA 23113.
A Committal Service will follow the previous services at Dale Memorial Park, starting at 2pm.
