TOIBIN, Brendan P., of Richmond, passed away into the care of Jesus Christ on February 12, 2013. He is survived by his parents, Colum and Maureen "Mary" Toibin; sister, Una Toibin-Hamilton and her husband, Brad; brothers, Kevin and Brian Toibin. Brendan took great joy in being an uncle to his niece, Katie and nephews, Drew, Aidan and Liam. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles. He was a 1986 graduate of the University of Richmond where he also played for the Spiders football team. Some of Brendan's joys were music and playing his guitar, tending his grill, fishing, sports and talking politics. He will be greatly missed by all of those who loved him and we know we will all be reunited one day. "Lay your head upon your Savior's breast, we love you oh but Jesus loves you the best."
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 11 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor or the Salvation Army. Online condolences may be made at woodyfuneralhomehuguenot.com
