Jenkins, Bruce Eugene, 84, of Henrico County, Virginia, went to be with his Lord on June 18, 2026, following a lengthy battle with Dementia/Alzheimer's. Bruce was born December 21, 1941, in Salamanca, New York.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Ephriam Jenkins and Genevieve Mount Jenkins and brother, Bob Jenkins. Bruce is survived by one niece and several cousins and many friends.
Bruce graduated from Hermitage High School and attended Bob Jones University. He was a veteran of the United States Army where he served mostly in the reserves. Bruce also enjoyed being an Amateur (Ham) Radio Operator. He retired from Nabisco/Mondelez after 33 years.
Bruce attended Grove Avenue Baptist Church for many years, where his favorite pastor was Dr. Vander Warner Jr. Bruce was a good Christian man, he loved good preaching and Southern Gospel music.
A viewing for Mr. Jenkins will be held on Sunday, June 28, from 2-5pm.
Interment will be private at Westhampton Memorial Park.
