

Carol Len Reid passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 80. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 12, 1945. Carol graduated from Banks High School in 1962 and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in education from Auburn University in 1966 where she was an active member of Chi Omega sorority. Soon after, she began a remarkable 52-year career as a flight attendant with Delta Air Lines until her retirement in 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eva and William Len. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Dr. Ronald Reid, and her two daughters and their husbands, Allyson and Timothy Campbell and Jenifer and Charles Huntoon. She also leaves behind her three brothers and their wives, William and Beverly Len, James and Virginia Len, and Daniel Len and Jimmie Sylvest, as well as six cherished grandchildren: Hayden, Sophia, Eleanor, and Nolan Campbell and Corbin and Eva Huntoon.
Known as “Cece” to her family, nothing brought her greater joy than surrounding herself with her children and grandchildren. She brought warmth, laughter, and an unforgettable sense of humor to everyone around her. Carol was an animal lover, especially her canine companions. She enjoyed traveling the world with family and friends and will be remembered for her sense of style, love of decorating, and passion for shopping.
