Carolyn Henderson Hines

HINES, Carolyn Frances Henderson, 79, born in Chatham, Virginia, lived in Richmond at Heritage Oaks Retirement Home, passed into eternal rest on October 11, 2013. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Herman Henderson; and son, Edwin Thomas Hines, Jr. She leaves to celebrate her life and mourn her passing, her husband of 56 years, Edwin Thomas Hines, Sr.; daughter, Diane Bowen and husband Ryland; son, Michael Kelly and good friend, Michelle Johns; cousin, Mary Sue Roarke and husband Ronnie; cousin, Nancy Amos Foster; lifelong friend, Beverly Ray; and loving church family of St. David’s Church. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Heritage Oaks for their faithful service and friendship. Her remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Monday at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane.
