Charles Rosson Allen, Jr. (Chad) 66, of Midlothian, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2020 at his home in Midlothian. He attended Huguenot High School and graduated in 1971, and then attended Virginia Commonwealth University 1971-72. Chad spent his career as the sales manager of the Allen family business, Allen Display.

He is survived by his brothers Stuart (Susan), David (Marti) and Steve, as well nephews Michael, Ross, and Reid and nieces Jennifer and Elisa. He loved to hunt and fish and was particular fond of turkey hunting with his friends, and fishing the Chesapeake Bay and James River. Chad was one of my first pool nemesis when I first started playing. Seems like I always had to play and lose to him. If he wasn't such a gracious winner, I may not have kept up and joined a league so many years ago. Will definitely miss his smiling face, kind words and endless stories!

Chad was a bright light always smiling and full of great stories. He listened when you needed a friend and helped when he could. I will miss him terribly. To our pool playing friends remember.....when in doubt Chad it out!!!!❤️

Chad has been the best friend anyone could ever want. He's always been there for me and helped me through some of the toughest times in my life, whether it be a helping hand, some advice or words of encouragement. Sometimes even some tough love and a hard push. I owe him a great deal. We had some of the best times. I'll miss you Brother.

Another Black Widow fades away. I'll always have some great memories. Like the time we went fishing 18 miles out into the fog with a compass and 6 gallons of gas. Thanks to the Coast Guard. Maybe we will all hunt and fish together again.
Will miss you Chad,

Stuart, David and Steve, My memory of Chad was in Traylor Estates I remember Chad on the motorcycle and thinking he looked like Dennis Hopper in Easy Rider. He was so cool and aloof. I'm so sorry for you loss and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I will remember Chad as the coolest dude I ever knew.
Take care,
