

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debbie Neider; his daughters, Dina Chekan (Nick) and Beth Murray (John); his son, Sam Neider; six grandchildren, Alexander, Margot, Jamerson, Caleb, Colin and Charlie; his sisters, Sharyn, Carole, and Michelle and a host of cousins.
Dana was born in Washington DC and serviced in the United States Air Force. He worked in retail for his entire career and retired twice from Macy’s. He loved to travel, especially to St. Maarten. He also enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, model airplanes, cars, boats, cooking, playing chess, smoking cigars or his pipe, the beach, music, vinyl records, and his dogs.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 8 pm on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Woody Funeral Home- Huguenot Chapel, where a service with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
