2021. He was born in Tonawanda, NY, to Donald Patrick
Goodman II and Judith Lynn Goodman née Peresie, in 1983. A
proud member of the U. S. Marine Corps, Dan was a Gunnery
Sergeant and combat veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Most recently, he was assigned as Battery Gunnery Sergeant
of Headquarters Battery, 3rd Battalion, 14th Marines.
A voracious reader, literature always fascinated him and
inspired his lifelong commitment to education. He was a
beloved English teacher, most recently at Meadowbrook High
School, inspiring many students to deepen their experience
of English literature.
Dan enjoyed woodworking and being in the outdoors. He was
famous for catching snakes, and loved hiking, fishing,
shooting, and anything else that got him out in the open.
First and foremost, Dan was a husband and father, adored by
his wife and children, and spent all of his time, with his
careers and with his hobbies, working for their benefit.
He is survived by his wife, Sabrina Casarotti Goodman,
and his three children, Adam Kingsley, Xavier Daniel,
and Sloan AnneMarie.
He is also survived by his mother, Judith Lynn Goodman née
Peresie; brother Donald Patrick Goodman III; aunts JoAnn
Carothers née Peresie and Denise Marie Goodman; uncles
Jeffrey Louis Peresie and David Michael Goodman; cousins
