Decker Joseph Davison

Decker Joseph Davison, 40, passed away on April 26, 2024. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Krystyna and Stanley Pawlak and Dorothy and James Davison. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Helen Davison; sister, Heather Werkmeister (Stephen) and their children, Carter and Emily; his beloved chihuahua, Chichi; and numerous other family members. Decker graduated from James River High School in 2002 and attended UNC Charlotte and VCU as well as various community colleges. He was an avid horticulturist (specifically cacti), loved riding his motorcycle, live music, and spending time with his friends and family. He loved living at the family farm in Caroline County, where he could ride the country roads to his hearts content. He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Thursday, May 9 at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brain and Behavior Research, bbrfoundation.org
