Donnie Earl Stalls

He was preceded in death by his parents Ruth Gray and Levi Stalls; His siblings Freddie Williams, Mittie Middlebrook, Diane Heiston, Howard Stalls and many beloved pets.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Karen Stalls; His children William and Jessica Stalls; His grandchildren Marlee and Emmree Stalls; His siblings Wayne Dixon, and Jeanette Patterson; As well as family, friends and his dog, Mango.

Donnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He had an infectious passion for fishing, music and anything involving sports. He never knew a stranger, and he had an unwavering compassion for animals.

After a relentless battle with health issues, we take comfort in knowing he is now resting peacefully, and his light will shine on. He is forever in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

The family will receive friends at 10:30am on September 12th, 2026, at Woody Funeral Home- Huguenot Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the COPD Foundation - where their mission is to aid people living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or locally to Keep Virginia Cozy - where their mission is to support pollution cleanup along the James River and throughout VA.
