He was preceded in death by his brothers, Darrin E. Snellings and David L. Snellings.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Bowles Snellings, his children, Kayla and Austin Snellings, and his granddaughter Ila Mathews. He is also survived by his parents, Thomas and Dolores Snellings, his brother Daniel (Leona) Snellings, and his sister, Deana (Deb) Snellings-Pate, and several nieces and nephews.
He loved spending time with his family, watching wrestling or football. His greatest joy was caring for his beloved granddaughter. An exceptional father and loving spouse, Dwayne worked hard to provide for his family. His warm smile will be missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held in Roanoke at a later date.
