PUCKETT, Edwin E. "Gene," 88, of Midlothian, retired general manager for Stone Container Corporation, died May 21, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Harriett T. Puckett; son, Robert W. Puckett and his wife, Theresa; two grandchildren, Elliot E. and Colin R. Puckett, all of Yardley, Pa.; also other family and friends. Gene was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the Midlothian Lodge # 211 A.F. & A.M., the Black Heath Daylight Lodge # 1982 A.F. & A.M. and the Scottish Rite Bodies.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. June 14, at Brandermill Church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Masonic Home of Virginia, P.O. Box 7866, Henrico, Va. 23231-0366. Online condolences may be made to woodyfuneralhomehuguenot.com.
