Evelyn “Randy” L. Barlow, 79, of Midlothian, VA, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry B. Barlow. She is survived by her loving daughter, Elizabeth “Beth” B. Townsend (John A. Townsend Jr.); her sister, Lisa L. Alderson (John M. Alderson V); nephew John “Jay” M. Alderson VI; and grandson Matthew “Wade” Townsend (Shelby T. Townsend)
Randy graduated from Saint Gertrude High School in 1964. She retired from her job as a labor relations secretary for Bell Atlantic after 27 years. She loved the beach, going to the pool, and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 1:00 pm at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1400 S Randolph St, Richmond, VA 23220.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
