Frances Driskill McFadden Williams

Frances Driskill McFadden Williams, 85, of Chesterfield County, went home to join the other angels on Saturday, March 23, 2013. Frances, affectionately known as Fran, was born December 15, 1927 in Huddleston, Va. to John Terrell Driskill and Clara Walton Driskill, both deceased. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Joanna Howell of Richmond, and Valeria McFadden of Richmond; her son, David W. McFadden M.D. and his wife, Nancy, of Avon, Conn.; stepsons, Mark Williams of Englewood, Fla., and Gregory Williams of Lewis Center, Ohio. Also surviving her is her husband, who knew she was an angel here on earth, Kenneth E. Williams, of Chesterfield County; grandchildren, Kim Wilson and her husband, David, Kristie Sheridan and her husband, Mike, Devon McFadden and his wife, Barbara, William McFadden, Hunter McFadden and Nora McFadden; great-grandchildren, Blake and Jessie Wilson, Benjamin and Luke Sheridan. She was a member of Central Baptist Church for over 33 years, was a member of the Willing Workers Class with many great friends there, and a loving and beautiful wife, mother and grandmother. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 29, at Central Baptist Church, with Pastors David Turner and John Royer officiating. Entombment will follow at Dale Memorial Park.
