He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Jennings Weekley and Myra Grandle Weekley.
He is survived by his brother, Martin E. Weekley and his wife, Linda.
Born in Harrisonburg, Va. and primarily grew up in Richmond, Va. where he attended Douglas Freeman High School then graduated from University of Richmond majoring in accounting. He retired from Alcoa (Reynolds Metals) from a long career working in the Canning Division. Geoff attended Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoyed serving on a variety of Ministries.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, October 14 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 903 Forest Ave. Henrico VA 23229.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to "The Trinity Foundation" and mailed to Trinity UMC.
The family would like to thank the Johnston Willis ICU staff and Affinity at Robious Health and Rehab, Hospice Center.
