Gilbert F Bourcier Sr, devoted husband of Joan Jacobsen Bourcier, father of Gilbert Jr., John Wentworth, and Mathew Edward, and grandfather of Sylvia Marie and Sophia Julianne, passed away February 2, 2016 of natural causes. Born June 18, 1933 in Marshfield, WI, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and married Joan in 1955. They moved to Richmond in 1965, pursuing a career with Reynolds Metals for 38 years. In his retirement he enjoyed golf and home projects. A memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 7 at 2pm at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian VA 23113.
