Gloria Mantlo Latham

LATHAM, Gloria Mantlo, 87, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015. She was born in Portsmouth, VA. She had been a Richmond resident since receiving her RN degree in 1950 from Grace Hospital. She was a dedicated nurse for over 30 years. She was predeceased by her husband, John S. Latham, Jr. She is survived by her daughters Pam Pendleton (Ben) and Terri Hessler (Tom); grandchildren, Erin Quintero, Jed Pendleton, Marc Hessler and Jennifer Lunsford; great-grandchildren, Kaia and Luke Quintero, Hadley and Holden Hessler; Anna Lane Lunsford; also a sister, Joyce English and the many friends and relatives whose lives she touched. She never knew a stranger and loved life to the fullest. She will be missed by many.

Gloria was active in the Red Hat Society, Grace Hospital Alumni Association, Joy Club of Goochland Baptist Church and a member of Bon Air Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, Nov. 2 at 10:30am at Bon Air Baptist Church at the Village, 7250 Patterson Ave., Richmond, VA, 23229. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Condolences may be made at www.woodyfuneralhomehuguenot.com
