Gregory Charles Ware

He is survived by his mother Arlene Ware McFadden; brothers Paul Ware, Jr. and Lester Ware; sisters Lachelle Williams and Elizabeth Hall; brother-in-law Bernard Williams; sister-in-law Karen Ware; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, along with great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Paul Ware, Sr.; grandparents Lester and Elizabeth Anderson; grandmother Hattie Ware; aunt Loretta Forbes; and uncle Thomas Anderson.

Gregory served as a Petty Officer in the Navy for 20 years. He retired as an honorary Navy personnel. Gregory then retired after 10 years of service at the Department of Defense. Gregory loved bowling, dancing, grilling, and spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

The family will receive visitors from 4 - 6 pm at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel on Monday, July 21, 2025. A committal service will take place at Amelia Veterans' Cemetery on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 11 am.

The family would like to thank everyone that has prayed for their family and supported Gregory throughout his life.
