Isabell Thomas Woodson, 87, passed away peacefully on March, 22, 2012. She was born to Garver and Pearl Thomas in 1924. She was a member of Crestwood Presbyterian Church West. Isabell was past President Petersburg Flower Club, and past President of Women’s of the Church -She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Sandra Kay Hamlin, her parents and brother Ewell R Thomas. Isabell is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Reinhardt C. Woodson, and her son Reinhardt “RC” C. Woodson Jr. and wife Elizabeth “Libby” Woodson, three grandchildren; Elizabeth W Gordon, Amy R Hamlin, Blake A. Hamlin, three great grandchildren; Kylie E Gordon, Emma G. Gordon, and Aubrey C. Gordon, also surviving are her sister Dorothy T. Rowland and brother Elmer L. Thomas.
The family will receive friends on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Woody Funeral Home 1020 Huguenot Rd. Midlothian, VA. And a funeral service will be held at 10:30am Saturday at the funeral home, the interment will be at 1:00pm at Forest Lawn cemetery in Richmond, VA.
