

She was born in Cookeville, TN, to James Albert LaFever and Eugenia Boyd LaFever. She graduated from Tennesee Tech in 1946 and later married James Alton Dickerson in 1949. They were married for 24 years before he passed away.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Bryant (Kenny); son, James Dickerson (Campbell); grandchildren, Seth and Jonathan Ligon; and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Albert LaFever.
Jacqueline taught elementary school in the Richmond area for 29 years and was a member of Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church for 31 years. She was also an active member of the Red Hat Society.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 30 from 4-6pm at Woody Funeral Home – Huguenot. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, August 31 in the Woody Chapel. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Park.
