Jason is preceded in death by his step mother, Laura “Boo” Hux.
He is survived by his parents Howard Hux and Lori Brown; his wife Chelsea Hux and daughter Julia Hux; siblings Tyler Hux, Andrew and Alyssa Knapp, Olivia Akers, Patricia Payne, Christina and Drew Green.
Jason was a devoted father and husband. He loved his family and friends fiercely and was the first to offer up help when it was needed. Jason enjoyed fishing, hanging out with friends, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys.
Jason was a good man - a good friend, a good son, a good brother, a good dad, and a good husband. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
The family will receive friends and loved ones from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Sunday, April 23rd at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA 23113.
The Service will be held on Monday, April 24th at 11:30am at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA 23113. Followed by the internment at 1:30 PM at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832. Reverend Charles Fink will officiate.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at the home of Jason’s In-Laws, Russ and Susan DeRemer, after the internment.
