In retirement, Jerry enjoyed spending time in Central Florida before relocating to Georgia. He enjoyed antiquing and thrift shopping, he was a coin and gun collector, a true firearm enthusiast. In his earlier days, Jerry was considered a leisure mechanic who could fix just about anything for fun, enjoyed custom leather, woodworking, cabinetry, fixtures and building furniture. His commitment to quality and attention to detail were evident in every piece he crafted, a reflection of his strong work ethic and his belief in the value of honest labor.
Above all, Jerry was a proud father and loved his four children, a smart, honest man with deep appreciation for the simpler joys of life.
