COXON, John F. "Jackie", Jr., 73, of Midlothian, passed away suddenly at home on April 21, 2011. He was preceded in death by an infant son. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Vicki Perry Coxon; daughter, Laura Coxon Sullins and her husband, Nolan; son, John F. Coxon III; one sister, Dorothy Ann Post; one brother, Robert Coxon; and nieces and nephews. Mr. Coxon worked for Highway Machinery and Supply Co. for over 35 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran who enjoyed gardening and riding his tractor, but most of all, spending time with his loving children.
His remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Online condolences to woodyfuneralhome.com.
