

John received his Bachelors in Chemistry from The University of Florida, and a Masters in Mathematics from The College of William and Mary. John served in the US Navy and US Navy Reserve, and retired from the Chesapeake Public School system after 28 years as a mathematics teacher.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years; Marjorie B. Dunham, and his three children; John Mark Dunham, James Michael Dunham (Amy), and Patricia Leigh Dunham (fiancé David) and 6 grandchildren; Christopher, Ian, Amara, Jack, Alex and Maverick. He is also survived by two sisters; Carroll Cameron and Gale Gerard, and one brother; Donald Dunham, all who reside in Florida.
A memorial service will be held at Crestwood Church, West Campus, 1200 Charter Colony Pkwy, Midlothian VA 23114 on September 25, 2014 at 3 pm. Interment will be private.
