He is survived by his father, Billy Earl Smith, Sr. and wife, Barbara; mother, Ella Patrick; sister, Pamela Cheryl Smith Davis (Patrick); brother, Kevin D. Smith; four children, Samantha Pierce (Kris), Nathan Smith (Lindsay), Shannon Perkinson (Drew), Michelle Smith; and nine grandchildren.
Earl was a gentleman, he loved to draw his own cartoon characters, and had great knowledge about baseball facts.
He attended Clover Hill High School and Graduated from J. Sargent Reynolds Community College.
Services will be held on December 31, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, Midlothian VA. Viewing will be at 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
