

Born on May 16, 1947, in Brno, Czechoslovakia, Pepe immigrated to the United States at age 17, where he worked for more than fifty years at Mark/Trèce and proudly served in the National Guard for six years.
Pepe had a wide range of passions. He loved RC crawling at Belle Isle, playing video games, and honing his skills as a craftsman. A devoted soccer enthusiast, he spent many years both playing on and coaching teams. He also had a deep love for animals and cared for many pets throughout his life, including his cherished cat, Finley.
Known for his creativity, curiosity, and ability to connect with anyone he met, he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Pepe is preceded in death by his mother, Olga. He is survived by his wife Kristen, with whom he was married for forty-one years, his children Rob, Shana (Chris), Josh, and Kelsey (Josh), his grandchildren Jacob, Rebecca, Austin, Caitlin, Irelyn, and Nathan, his father Richard (Sandy), his brothers Richard, Henry, and Alex, and his many cousins and friends.
