Judson Thomas "Poss" Parsons Jr., 92, went to be with the Lord September 2, 2010. He was a Navy veteran, having served in the Pacific in WWII. He was preceded in death by Lillian Watts Parsons, his wife of 65 years. He is survived by his daughter, Mary "Beth" Parsons of Hampton; grandchildren, Lisa Hampton Melton, Kimberly Hampton Catterton and Thomas Allan Hampton; great-grandchildren, Logan Melton, Whitney Catterton, Conner Melton, Joshua Catterton, Brett Hampton and Ryan Hampton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 5, at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Avenue. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bon Air Baptist Church, 2531 Buford Road, Richmond, Va. 23235.
