Katheryn “Kitty” Stinnett Tapscott,90, of Midlothian went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2015; She was born on January 17, 1925 in Clifton Forge, VA. Kitty was married to Julian Stinnett (deceased) and George Tapscott also deceased. She is survived by her daughters; Cindy Amend and Janice Baum and her husband Jim, four grandchildren; Hank Amend and wife Sarah, Jody Lyle and husband Bryce, Katie Amend and Andy Baum, three great grandchildren. She was a retired employee of CSX and a longtime active member of Crestwood Presbyterian Church.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 5, 2015 at 4:00 – 7:00pm at the Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. Midlothian, VA. There will be a graveside service at 10:30am on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Westhampton Memorial Park and a memorial service following at 12:00pm at the Crestwood Presbyterian Church, 6627 Jahnke Rd. Richmond, VA.
