Kathleen Hazel Solomon, 79, of Locust Hill, VA passed away Saturday, February 5th, 2022, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Johanna Solomon, her siblings, Daniel and Joanna, her granddaughter, McKennah and great granddaughter Harper. She is survived by her three children; Pieter Moore (Krish), Johanna Conner (Patrick), and Wilhelmina Moore, as well as 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
She was a native of Newport News, VA, born January 31st, 1943. Kathleen was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served as a dedicated teacher throughout her life. She was a loving and devoted mother, Nana, and Nana the Great. She had a great love for animals, the ocean, books, and adventures.
Her life will be celebrated with funeral services on Monday, February 14th at 10am at 1957 Capeway Rd Powhatan, VA. Interment will follow at Smither Memorial Cemetery.
