Labinda Hefner Taylor

September 28, 1944 – June 19, 2026
Obituary of Labinda Hefner Taylor
IN THE CARE OF

Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel

LaBinda Hefner Taylor, 81 passed peacefully on Friday June 19, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia and raised in Newport News Va, LaBinda met her loving husband Bobby of 59 years and they had 4 children, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and dachshund Jake, fiercely. Her family was always the center of her world. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable way of making everyone feel welcomed, valued and at home in her presence. Her joyful spirit was contagious, and her smile could brighten even the hardest of days. She adored the color pink, found happiness in cooking delicious meals that brought family together and expressed her creativity through sewing and crafting. Her love, generosity, and feisty spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

LaBinda was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby Mason Taylor and her parents Dona B Proffit and Woric B Hefner. She was also preceded in death by her half sister Betty Hefner Spivey, one great grandchild Karlei Alaya Taylor and son in law, Anthony Levy.

Left to honor her memory are their son Woric Bedford Scott Taylor (his children Terri Lambert and Candace Taylor), and daughters, Susan Taylor Levy (Tiffany Johnston & Nick Dorsman and Blake Johnston), Angel Taylor Eutsler and husband Brian (Hunter & Reagan Eutsler and Katelyn Eutsler & Dom LeDonne), Tina Taylor Bell and husband Chad (Breann & Nick Hutter and Amber Bell & Jacob Coe).

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Celebration of Life to be held at The Crossroads of Bon Air Chapel on August 29th 2026 at 10:00am 9100 Bon Air Crossings Drive, North Chesterfield Va 23235.
