Dean was born November 16, 1957 in Wise County VA, the only son of the late Joel and Irene Turner. He enjoyed listening to BBN radio, HAM Radio, fishing, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
A graveside service to celebrate the life of Lanis "Dean" Turner will be held at 12pm on November 20, 2023 at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd., Chesterfield, VA 23832 with Pastor Rick Phillips officiating.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Christal Turner, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins that he cherished.
A heartfelt thanks to nurses Sarah and Joyce at Bon Secours Hospice of Midlothian, VA; nurses Spencer and Christina and Dr. Flickinger at Bon Secours Hospice House for their compassionate care and devotion; and Paris and Tywanda, Private Duty Nurses at Care Advantage for going above and beyond with their care of him at home.
