Loren Todd Lumadue, 82, of Midlothian, Virginia, passed away on September 19, 2026. Born March 19, 1944, Todd lived a life marked by steadfast devotion, diligent work, and quiet resilience—qualities evident in the way he served, led, and cared for those around him.
Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Lumadue; his father, Todd Charles Lumadue; and his brother, Lance Lumadue. He is survived by his beloved wife, Frances; his daughters, Melanie Boyer and Melissa Vetter (Paul Vetter III); his grandchildren, Ethan Boyer, Joshua Boyer, and Grace Ann Vetter; and his sister, Charlene Brooks.
Todd graduated from the University of Richmond in 1967 and soon after entered the U.S. Army, serving honorably in Vietnam from 1967 to 1969. After his military service, he returned to the University of Richmond to complete his MBA. His commitment to service and community remained constant throughout his life. Todd served twice as Commander of American Legion Post 186 and was an active member of the Bon Air Manchester Midlothian Lions Club.
In his professional life, Todd worked as a project manager with Brown Boveri and Wako Chemicals, where he was respected for steady leadership, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility. He was also a longtime member of Huguenot United Methodist Church, a place that grounded him and enriched his life for many years.
Visitation will be held at Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA 23113, on September 24, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
