EMERSON, Lorraine, of Richmond, born November 15, 1923 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away February 8, 2014 in Richmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, G.A. Emerson, Jr. Survivors include her children, Leonard Emerson, John Emerson, Carol Eaton and Connie Bahm and their families; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Lorraine was a veteran of World War II where she served as a lieutenant and registered nurse. She spent the next 70 years as a loving wife and mother. Special thanks to her daughter, Carol who gave her in home care for the last 13 years of her life. Lorraine was able to live out her life surrounded by family in a four generation home.
