She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Arndt; her daughter-in-law, Sandra Arndt; Her brother, Kenneth Reynolds and five sisters, Janie Cimino, June Adt, Annette Blanks, Ethelene Shumaker, and Josephine Whitten.
She is survived by her two sons, Gerald and Samuel Arndt; her daughter, Sherry Adams (Mark); four grandchildren, Amy Eddy (William), Jeremy Arndt (Frankie), Brett Adams, and Blake Adams; Three great grandchildren, John Eddy, Gerald Eddy, and Kady Arndt; And two sisters, Arlene Childress and Joyce Brinkley.
Lynda was born in Buckingham, VA to Samuel and Vadney Reynolds on March 8, 1934. She was a long-time member of Bethlehem Baptist Church and had a passion for gardening.
Visitation will be held at Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA 23113, US, on August 31, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
A Graveside Service will be held at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832, US, on August 31, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her extended family member and nurse, Jacqui Adams, for her compassionate care and also the staff at Anchored in Peace.
