Margaret Brooks Cloer, 82 of Richmond, passed away on February 16, 2014. She was born to the late Clyde and Rebecca May Brooks on March 25, 1931. Margaret was a member of Huguenot Road Baptist Church and retired from Schwarzschild Jewelers. Her biggest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years David L Cloer and is survived by her two children; Sandra Cloer Wingen and husband Rick, and David Scott Cloer, her grandchildren Claire Margaret Wingen and Kenneth Tyler Wingen, her two sisters Jean Warren and Clydene Clontz and a special sister in law Virginia Cloer.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 1:00pm with a memorial service starting at 2:00pm at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. Midlothian, VA. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please send donation to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org or Chalies Angels, a fund to aid needy families in Margaret’s hometown.
