Ellis, Marie Felts, of Richmond, Va., passed away on January 21, 2016. She was born to the late Charles Crockett and Pearl Fisher Felts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fendall R. Ellis. Marie is survived by her son, Bob; brother, Joe Felts, Roanoke; and 10 nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Radford College and an active church member of Bon Air Baptist, where she taught 4th grade Sunday school for many years. Marie enjoyed literature, classical music and time spent with friends. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 29, at Woody Funeral Home, Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to World Hunger Relief or The International Mission Board, 3806 Monument Ave., Richmond, Va. 23230.
