DODSON, Maxine Vanover, 85, of Richmond, died March 8, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Franklin Dodson, Sr.; and her son, David Ronald Dodson. Survivors include her daughter, Judy Kathleen Hester and her husband, Chapman Bragg Hester; her son, Clifford Franklin Dodson, Jr. and his wife, Cynthia E. Dodson; three sisters, Pat Murdock, Leatha Chalkley and Shirley Belcher; two granddaughters, Rebecca Cabell Williams and Sherry “Frankie” Newsome; and two great-grandchildren, Chad H. Smith and Jessica T. Smith. Mrs. Dodson retired from E.I. DuPont after 45 years of service. She was a member of Evangel Assembly of God for over 35 years. Her remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday.
