Melissa and I could talk about anything we were the best kind of friend plus She was the mother of my granddaughter. My daughter, sister, and Mariah love to get together and go out to eat or have a jewelry party just to get together. She was sick for a while being detoxed from Lyme Disease. She would call me every night all night hoping I could encourage her along. I prayed I did. We talked every night until time for her to come home.  Same with her she found out I was sick with flu she would call tell me the food was at my front door. ALways left a touching gift and food enough for 3 days. I love Melissa and always will. She is a beautiful and sweet soul. The Bible tells us We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.  I know Melissa was a child of GOD'S even through the trials she had to endure. I know as a Christain JESUS NEVER  LET  HER SWEET SOUL  FEEL ANY MORE PAIN AFTER THAT LAST BREATH SHE HAD ON EARTH. He picked her sweet beautiful soul went straight to Heaven. The countless phone conversations and fb messages we shared. You fought your battle courageously. You’re battle is finally over and your race is won. Rest easy my sweet friend. I love you. 

The world has lost a beautiful soul and heaven has gained a precious gem.  I  will always remember Melissas amazing spirit and cherish our friendship.  I pray that her family finds peace in the coming months. My thoughts and prayers are with them. Until we meet again my dear friend,  I will continue the fight in your honor.

Melissa and I met through a mutual friend and went through a period of life a few years ago when we were fighting the same illness. We never got to meet in person, but it didn’t matter as I felt I got to know her through our phone chats.  Melissa was supportive, encouraging and upbeat. I cherish how she reached out to me when she was in so much pain.  May you find rest, sweet soul, in the hands of our Father. Special prayers for her lovely family.

I talked to Melissa on the phone several times and could instantly tell she was a special person. She was vibrant, caring, and loving even while going through such a tough time. She sent me some of her artwork and I will always cherish it. My heart goes out to her family and close friends. Praying God's grace covers you all during this difficult time.

The comfort of having a friend may be taken away, but not that of having had one.  You were truely a special friend who I will miss forever.  May God comfort your family and surround them with love.

Williams; children, Mariah Poulston and Landon Williams; parents, Donnie and Cathy Field; brothers, Donnie (Dale) and Josh (Jenni); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and her dog Opie, and a large circle of friends and fellow Warriors that will miss her dearly.
