He is survived by sons, Ryan and Dean (Caroline); grandsons, Trip and Parker; wife, Jenny; and
devoted friend Virginia “Ginny” Millikin of Denver, CO. His sons and grandchildren were the true
loves of his life.
A graduate of Huguenot High School, Mike was an honorably discharged U.S. Army Veteran and had a long tenure with the Virginia Highway Department. A lover of animals and the outdoors, Mike never met an animal he didn’t want to pet or keep. He was a generous man with a huge heart. Mike loved music, especially The Beatles, and watching his family live a prosperous and fulfilled life.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 P.M. on Friday, March 24 at Woody Funeral Home - Huguenot Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Richmond Animal Care and Control or St. Jude’s.
A memorial service in Ware Neck, VA will be held at a later date.
