PREWITT, Miles Henry, 74, of Midlothian, passed away March 25, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arch and Ivria Jane Prewitt; his son, Randall; two brothers, Morrison and Donald; and a sister, Evelyn. He is survived by his wife, Molly B. Prewitt; three sons, Ronald, David and Wayne; two daughters, Jennifer and Ceara; 17 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Jane and Carol.
He retired from the U.S. Navy and was a member of Swift Creek Presbyterian Church, the Cumberland Masonic Lodge, Norfolk United Royal Arch Lodge, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry and Kena Shrine Temple, Merrifield, Va.
Funeral services including a Masonic service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 28 at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, with visitation one hour prior to the services. Inurnment later at the Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association.
