He is survived by his sons, Derek and Brian DiGiovanni; his wife, Jean and her two children, Andrea Mitchell and Richie Masters; his brothers, Jerry Piscopo, John DiGiovanni and sister Anne Hoffman; and many nieces and nephews.
Peter received his MBA from Syracuse University and a BS in Economics from Saint Bonaventure university. He had CPA certification and had over 30 years of experience within the real estate industry encompassing multifamily, residential, single-family residential, commercial office retail, hotel condominium and land development. He joined General Services Corporation in 1999 and was promoted to his current position of Chief Operating Officer in 2013.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 12, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, 1020 Huguenot Road, Midlothian, VA 23113. A funeral service be held at 1pm on Sunday, November 13, 2022.
