Prudence Adeline Beals

Prudy Beals, a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, left this world unexpectedly on July 19, 2022. She is joyously reunited with her husband, David Lee Beals and two sons, David Lee, Jr. and Wesley Stuart.

She was born to Woodrow "Bill" and Norma Pegram on July 3, 1944. She is survived by two grandchildren, Meghan and Matthew Beals; daughter-in-law, Terry Beals; her sisters, Gail Wallace, Billie Smith, Monica Matherly (Richard), Cheryl Mills (Skip); her brother, Woody Pegram; and grand-niece, Kayla Pegram. Prudy is also survived by a big, wonderful family filled with many loving nephews, nieces and cousins.

Prudy worked as a bus driver for over 30 years for the City of Richmond and Chesterfield County. To say she loved all of the children entrusted to her care is an understatement. She loved spending time with her family, playing cards and most of all returning home, when possible, to West Virginia.

Prudy will be honored on Sunday, July 24th at Woody's Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled from 1-3pm. A funeral service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Casual attire is requested.
