A devoted father of four, Ralph built his life around his family while also serving his community as a hairdresser from the age of 14. Ralph also served one tour in Army Intelligence during the Vietnam War.
Ralph's greatest joy was found in simple pleasures: listening to music, taking trips to the beach with his wife, kids and grandkids, and cooking for large family gatherings. The more family and friends at the table, the happier Ralph was. Ralph was a spirited individual and passionate about ensuring his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren all had exposure to music, and any instruments they were interested in playing. He was heavily involved as a band parent, and never missed a performance that his children participated in.
Ralph is survived by his daughters, Carol DiSylvestro, Gina Oughton; and his son, Ralph DiSylvestro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angeline Eloise DiSylvestro, and his daughter, Suzanne Terek, whom he always carried in his heart.
Memorial service will be held at Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd, Midlothian, VA 23113 on Saturday, November 21, 2026 10:30am EST.
Ralph's legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the lives he touched, and the love he shared.
