FEATHERSTON, Richard C., Sr., 69, of Midlothian, went to be with the Lord on May 21, 2013. Survivors include his son, Richard C. Featherston, Jr. and his wife, Lisa; two grandchildren, Emily and Forest Featherston; one sister, Beverly Massie and her husband, Bill; niece, Melissa Picudella and her husband, John; nephew, Douglas Massie and his wife, Ann Marie; and other extended family members. His remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Grove Avenue Baptist Church Fellowship Fund or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
